Tree of Life Campaign

Saving nature and saving lives is an advocacy that My Superhero Friends Foundation, Inc. has been embarking on.

Our recent Tree of Life campaign last November 21, 2020 was a huge success, not only for the foundation but for all stakeholders who supported this advocacy.

The day started with an assembly at Taal Maranan’s Farmville Inc., where our dear founder Superhero Mike Maranan and our president, Superhero Rex Salazar-Macasaet briefed the whole group on the tree planting and tree nurturing activities. They also reminded everybody to be mindful of existing health protocols.

We would like to thank the farm staff at Maranan’s Farmville for preparing the ground holes for the trees to be planted on. We had donors and volunteers from multiple organizations who supported this particular tree planting and tree nurturing event. Most of them came from these highly respected organizations:

• Kanlung-Lahi Lodge XXII
• Kadiwa Eagles Club
• IQ Inner Circle
• Euro United Car Club
• Department of Environment and Natural Resources

We ended the day with an awarding ceremony and sharing with the audience on what the foundation’s goals are moving forward. We are very excited for our next tree planting activity. We would like to seek your patience while we are working on the necessary permits for us to be able to finalize the locations for our future tree planting and tree nurturing events.

We will also be giving regular updates on the situation of the trees that we’ve already planted. We did announce yesterday that we already planted 1815 trees out of the 1,000,000 trees that we are committing for the next 10 years.
